If the PS3 has a Blu-Ray Disc that can hold 25GB why are the graphics not as good at the XBOX 360?
I am not saying that i like the PS3 better than the XBOX 360 or the XBOX 360 better than the PS3 because i have both of them and i like them both equally. I want to know why the graphics are not as good on the PS3 as they are on the XBOX 360 even though the PS3 has Blu-Ray Disc and the XBOX only has a DVD? In my opinion the XBOX 360 has more smooth graphics and if you look at Madden 10 on the 360 it looks a hell of a lot better than its PS3 counterpart. However if you look at Uncharted 2:Among Thieves (only for the PS3) it pretty much blows any 360 game out of the water. So why do most 360 games have better graphics than there PS3 counterparts?
I agree with you because you are right and heres why
ALL crossplatform games ( both 360 and ps3 ) run better, and look better on the 360. Its easier to make on the 360, so its made better on that console then ported over to the ps3. Even though on paper the ps3 is more powerfull, its more complicated to write games for. If the developers use it to the full power... well obviously you've seen how good uncharted 2 looks.
Another problem too is though the system is more powerfull, it also lacks quite a few things, google this stuff, I used to always look this stuff up.
As far as exclusives thats another thing. I think Gears looks better than Killzone, in some ways. I think MGS4 looks great. I KNOW Uncharted 2 litterally pushes out over 94% of the ps3 full power, which is really good. And that game is the BEST looking, no... just the BEST game ever. That is what the ps3 is capable of and the 360 can come close, but not close enough.
Other than that one game, its a matter of opion. Except with crossplatform games.
